My name is Leah, I am a Khmer teacher from Phnom Penh province with a passion for sharing Khmer cuisine & culture! As a young girl I learned how to cook from my mother, in my opinion, the best cook in the world! When I was young my favourite thing was to shop for ingredients in local markets and cook for my family. After highschool, I moved to Phnom Penh city and completed an undergraduate degree in pharmacy which deepened my understanding of local ingredients and recipes. I began cooking for a Russian family and became fascinated by international and western cuisine. I am so happy to be a part of Urban Forage as I can share about my own cuisine and learn from our guests from all around the world! Looking forward to meeting you 🙂
