We were lucky to get Jackson as a private tour guide for our morning food and street art tour. He was a wealth of knowledge sharing insights into the daily life of the people of Cambodia and the history of modern art scene. He took us to places we would never have found on our own and really made the city of Phnom Penh come alive. It was clear that each stop was hand-picked to ensure an authentic and delicious experience! Jackson was an exceptional tour guide. He not only walked us through all the food we were eating, but he had a wealth of knowledge on the history, culture, and community! Halfway through the night, we forgot we had paid to be on the tour because it just felt like a night out with a good friend! And Nin was an amazing tuk tuk driver. Absolutely hands down best street food tour done in SE Asia. And we’ve done Vietnam, Japan, Thailand. This was by far the most actual street food with the amazing Jackson and his driver. Been in Cambodia 2 weeks yet they still surprised us with foods we’d never come across yet. An absolute must to add to your itinerary. EXCELLENTVerified Eat your way through Phnom Penh! This tour was a great intro to Phnom Penh culture and good eats. Our guide Visal was very friendly and full of information to share about Cambodian cuisine, family life and himself too. He was kind to shop owners and was jusr as eager to share as we were to learn. He was mindful of an allergy and ensured we tried all the things. Don't miss this opportunity to happily eat your way through Phnom Penh. All of the art on the trip was really interesting and lovely to see and Jackson had lots of great contextual knowledge about the art and gave lots of great insight. The food on the trip was also delicious and had vegetarian options. Jackson was very friendly and helpful and has excellent English, our driver was also lovely. The walk around BKK market was interesting and we had a delicious first breakfast there, with iced coffee, followed by yummy Cambodian donuts. Then it was off to see some street art and hear the stories behind it. Jackson is great at explaining the street art in the setting of Phnom Penh and recent history. We stopped for second breakfast at a streetside stall and that too was delicious. Overall the tour was a great way to see Phnom Penh and have some delicious local food. Highly recommended. Amazing food tour, and you have to eat at night anyway - so why not go out with Jaxson who was a great guide Everything was organised well and great to get out into the markets and see and eat a lot of local food - you will not go home hungry. If there's one tour you have to do in Phnomh Penh, it's this one. Not only do you visit various eateries (restaurants, streel stalls, markets, etc.), the tastings are varied and I would say better food than what you get in many restaurants. Being a tuk tuk is also an added bonus as you get to see parts of the city you probably would miss if you have limited time like I did. Walking through the Russian Markets and seemingly random street stalls made the whole thing more authentic. There's something really fun about hopping place to place in a tuk tuk to sample local cuisine. The trip ended at a bar that included a free cocktail where you can stay at your own leisure after the trip ends or go from there. Just make sure you don't eat anything several hours beforehand because you will be full part-way through, so pace yourself! Great guide who made our trip even more enjoyable.
