He was extremely knowledgeable and everything we ate was delicious. It was fantastic getting to see how the locals live and what the markets look like after dark. We had 2 tours with Jackson. One was a boat cruise(the beers flowed freely🍻👌) and the information provided was excellent. We then went to dinner at an NGO training organisation, Friends the Restaurant, which trains disadvantaged children to work in hospitality. This is a definite "must do" as the food these young folk turn out is exceptional. We also did a street food tour on a separate night and again Jackson hit the mark. The places we ate at we would never have found by ourselves. The variety and experiences were 10/10. Though I do suggest starting the tour on an empty stomach... Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke great english. Tuktuks had unlimited beer. A few tips if I were to do it again: We did this when we first arrived. I would wait a bit for eating street food and let our stomachs catch up to the food. We ate SO much food. I would have rather paced myself and left some food at the beginning so I could eat more food at the end of the tour. If you are trying to do this on a smaller budget, you can do a food tour with a local Tuktuk driver or through Grab. Because of the curation of the restaurants, local food, and support for legitimate long time cooks - I would choose this tour again.
