We had a great food tour with Jackson as our guide. He was fun, knowledgeable and he definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone to try new foods and from street vendors that I would usually not stop at. Everything was different and tasty in its own way and Jackson's passion for food and his country rubs off on you! I would definitely recommend doing this tour if you get a chance.Posted on Brandon HessTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great tour with Visal. One of the best food tours we have done… and we’ve done a lot! Our guide Visal was amazing as well as the tuk tuk drivers. It was a complete downpour that night but the drivers were so cheerful and it was such a fun night jumping in and out of tuk tuks and dodging the rain! There were so many food stops and we tried a wide range of local food. We visited the Russian market which was very interesting and had an opportunity to try some local fruit. We also ended in a lovely bar with a well made cocktail. If you only do one tour in Phnom Penh do this one!Posted on Damien NgoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing and eye opening experience. I had Visal as my private tour guide for the street food tour. Not only was the food amazing, but I highly appreciate that I was taken to some smaller shops that a foreigner like myself wouldn't typically go to due to fears of getting sick. There was plenty of food, by the 3rd stop I was already feeling quite full so there is no need to worry about not getting enough to eat. I really valued how accommodating the tour was: Before our tour started, I had requested that Visal try to speak Khmer to me, as I was learning Khmer myself. He happily agreed and went straight to it. I was picked up at my hotel, making it extremely convenient, offered drinks and conversed on just about everything. Visal joined in on eating the foods with me, it made it feel less of a tour and more of a friend showing you around. Appreciated that I was then sent me a list of the shops we went to, so if I'd like to visit them in my own time, I can. No gatekeepping Highly recommend and thanks to Visal for the great night.Posted on Adam KrawczykTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very cool. From restaurants, solo street vendors to night markets, this tour covers everything! Our guides - Kanha & Jackson were awesome too!! Highly recommended.Posted on Roy AVerified Unmissable food tour with a difference. You must not miss this very special tour in Cambodia. Panha, our guide, made it extra special and was a delight to be with. Experience real Cambodian food in authentic locations, knowing that it is perfectly safe and try things you never knew about. Wonderful experience.Posted on MarjorieVerified Phnom Penh’s talented street art Great experience to taste local street food. Explored more by tuk tuk of Phnom Penh’s busy streets and quiet lanes to see large painting murals on walls and fences. I wouldn’t have experience this totally different tour if a friend hadn’t mentioned about this. We viewed the amazing sight of the city from 35th floor Art Gallery and learnt about the history of the city. A nice block of chocolate gift to take home.Definitely an eye opener!Posted on dph1966Verified Jackson you are the best Just had a food tour with Jackson as our guide. This man was an absolute pleasure to be with. As well as taking is to some great places to eat he told us a lot about the history of Cambodia .Our tuk tuk driver mickey not his real name kept everyone supplied with beer and soft drinks. It was a fantastic evening out and well recommendedPosted on AlisonVerified A Great Experience What a wonderful introduction toCambodia. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Jackson and our lovely driver. We had two delicious food stops which gave us our first taste of Cambodian food. Then as a contrast a look at the street art which we would never have found on our own. The stories about the background of the art was very interesting. Then a visit to a local gallery and chocolate shop.An excellent way to get to know Phenom Penh.Posted on TXDelta3Verified Eat your way through Phnom Penh! This tour was a great intro to Phnom Penh culture and good eats. Our guide Visal was very friendly and full of information to share about Cambodian cuisine, family life and himself too. He was kind to shop owners and was jusr as eager to share as we were to learn. He was mindful of an allergy and ensured we tried all the things. Don't miss this opportunity to happily eat your way through Phnom Penh. Thanks Visal (and our tuk tuk driver whose name I can't recall) for an awesome and delicious evening!Posted on Shayna MVerified Great tour! I had a really great tour with Jackson. All of the art on the trip was really interesting and lovely to see and Jackson had lots of great contextual knowledge about the art and gave lots of great insight. The food on the trip was also delicious and had vegetarian options. Jackson was very friendly and helpful and has excellent English, our driver was also lovely. I would highly recommend this trip.Posted on DrSethHazlittVerified A very fun (and delicious) morning with Jackson as guide We had a great time on our tour with Jackson, who was a terrific guide. The walk around BKK market was interesting and we had a delicious first breakfast there, with iced coffee, followed by yummy Cambodian donuts. Then it was off to see some street art and hear the stories behind it. Jackson is great at explaining the street art in the setting of Phnom Penh and recent history. We stopped for second breakfast at a streetside stall and that too was delicious. Overall the tour was a great way to see Phnom Penh and have some delicious local food. Highly recommended. Go with an empty stomach!!Posted on Robyn IVerified Fantastic evening in Phnom Penh This tour was a fun introduction to Cambodian food and lots of fun riding a tuktuk all across town to 8 tasting stops (and beer in between!). Thank you to our host Jackson and driver Mr. Lucky for providing such a wonderful intro to Phnom Penh.
